The Process

I start by scheduling a complimentary 20-minute phone session to discuss your needs and my services to get a peek at your unique health journey. This is where our therapeutic partnership begins.

Next we will schedule two sessions:

  1. Intake or information gathering session (90 minutes)

  2. Dive In or action plan session (60 minutes)

To prepare for the first session, you will fill out and submit the Client Intake Form accompanied by any appropriate testing results. After that first session, I will map out this information to look at it from both a body systems point of view (Functional Matrix) and a chronological standpoint (Timeline). Creating these visuals (your Toolkit) help bring certain clues to the forefront and help us determine where to focus. This Toolkit will be useful to build upon as you move forward in your health with current and future doctors and practitioners. We will collect all information that may include signs & symptoms, diagnoses, test results, genetics, environmental exposures, nutrition, hydration, lifestyle habits, relationships, and mind-body-spirit dynamics.

The Dive In session will dig in deeper to your current health and we will discuss and come up with an Action Plan that may include the following nutrition and lifestyle aspects:

  • Improving digestion

  • Addressing your immune system

  • Reducing your environmental toxin exposure (only in small, simple steps!)

  • Addressing your blood sugar & hormonal balance

  • Sleep/Relaxation

  • Exercise/Movement

  • Nutrition/Hydration

  • Stress/Resilience

  • Relationships/Community

  • Spirituality/Connection with Nature

We work together on education in applicable areas and implementation of steps. We will gather your physiological and emotional responses along the way as you make changes to inform us on next steps. It is a process, a path, as opposed to a set protocol.

Many times it is necessary for us to team up with other doctors and practitioners.

From this point on, scheduling and frequency of sessions are very individual and dependent on what steps you are taking, your pace and your goals. I will be there with you every step of the way!
